In the 1960s, Cambridge University student and future remarkable physicist of our times, Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne) falls in love with his fellow collegian Jane Wilde (Felicity Jones). At the age of 21, once healthy, active young Stephen Hawking is diagnosed with a fatal disease, that tears him into pieces. He become galvirnised, but against all odds, with Jane fighting tirelessly by his side, Stephen embarks on his most ambitious scientific work with the precious little time he has.
